The HR policies on this website are currently applicable to all new staff appointed by Westcountry Schools Trust with effect from 1 September 2017.
For those employed prior to September 2017, please refer to the HR policies of the school or college you are employed by. These policies vary from those on the website for new employees post September 2017. The pre September 2017 policies emanate from either Devon County Council/Plymouth City Council or standalone Academy HR policies.
Staff employed at Callington Community College are subject to a suite of HR policies that have their roots in Cornwall Council's employment policies and procedures. Employees joining Callington Community College with effect from 1 September 2017 are employees of Westcountry Schools Trust and therefore the HR policies on the website are applicable to their employment.
All past and present HR policies are ACAS compliant.
