Are you looking to join a dedicated and well-qualified central team supporting the work of some 2000 staff committed to delivering exceptional education?
WeST is a complex schools Trust that is maturing rapidly, and this post provides an exciting opportunity to join an organisation with students and staff at its heart, built on an extensive track record of excellence.
Our Trust consists of 24 schools (in both Primary and Secondary phases) and The Learning Institute (TLI). Our schools are in relatively close geographical proximity to one another, across south Devon, Plymouth and south east Cornwall. We are positioned in the heart of the south west peninsula, a stone’s throw from some of the most picturesque countryside and coastal locations in the UK.
If you are dedicated and highly proficient in the delivery of business administration and executive support, this post provides the opportunity to take the next step in your career in the education sector.
This role involves working closely with the CEO and Executive team, calling for the ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and accuracy. The ideal candidate will also have a strong administrative background with excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to remain calm and controlled in a demanding and constantly changing environment. The role will require flexibility in working hours and styles to meet varying demands. As the first point of contact for the CEO and Executive Team, it is essential that the post holder has a manner which inspires confidence across high levels of interaction.
The Trust offers memberships of the Local Government Pension Scheme; a salary-related, defined benefit scheme and one of the most generous in the UK.
For an informal discussion regarding the role please contact Joss Davis, Director of People, on mob. 07799 730789.
Application forms are available from firstname.lastname@example.org and completed applications should be submitted to this address by 9am (GMT) on Thursday 23rd September 2021. We anticipate assessment and interviews for the post taking place on Thursday 30th September.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
