We are seeking to recruit an outstanding, dynamic and highly motivated ICT Technician to join the WeST Core Services Team.

Are you looking to join a dedicated and well-qualified central team supporting the work of some 2000 staff committed to delivering exceptional education?  We are seeking to recruit an outstanding, dynamic and highly motivated ICT Technician to join the team at an exciting phase of the Trust’s continuous growth and development. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and excellence in their ability to assist the Operations Manager and Strategic IT Manager in the efficient running and maintenance of the ICT facilities throughout the Trust’s sites.

WeST is a growing schools Trust, with students and staff at its heart, built on an extensive track record of excellence.  Consisting of 22 schools (secondary colleges and primary) and a Teaching and Learning Institute which are in relatively close geographical proximity to one another, across south Devon, Plymouth and south east Cornwall.

The Trust offers memberships of the Local Government Pension Scheme; a salary-related, defined benefit scheme and one of the most generous in the UK.

You will require excellent inter-personal skills and extensive experience in IT systems which includes essential knowledge of Windows 10, evidence of basic Windows server administration and experience of Local Area Networks.
