Thank you for your support of the WeST staff survey – 784 colleagues responded!

We will begin to analyse the results in depth, and share this with you, but there are some early messages for us to consider.

I wish to take this opportunity to share with you how WeST has funded certain recent activities. WeST engaged in a bid process to secure additional funding to support the development of the trust and further strengthen our offer of professional development. This means that the full cost of several activities has been met by external additional funds, which is great news.

Likewise, WeST was able to submit a bid for curriculum training development which, again, was successful. This has meant that the recent professional training events held at the Crowne Plaza have been fully funded from external monies.

I am pleased to share that the respective ‘Due Diligence’ processes around the Beacon Federation joining WeST are underway. We continue to remain hopeful of a 1st January 2022 merger and welcoming new colleagues to the WeST family.

Best wishes,

Rob Haring, CEO
