Digital Communications Co-ordinator
The Learning Institute is currently advertising for a number of roles to support their continuing growth and development as a provider of Higher Education, Teacher Training and Apprenticeships.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Learning Institute - the outreach arm of Westcountry Schools Trust. The Learning Institute removes barriers to learning for hard-to-reach groups and widens access for those parts of society where there is no tradition of undertaking higher study. It develops the infrastructure for social mobility and community cohesion by providing accessible, high quality degree programmes which meet the needs of communities and professionals. The Learning Institute is an approved provider of initial teacher training and apprenticeships. Through partnerships with universities it provides undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in education and health.
DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE POST
The post holder will play a core role in the implementation of the Learning Institute’s communications, marketing and recruitment strategy. S/he will provide advice and guidance on undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment issues to colleagues including portfolio development using market intelligence. S/he will promote and raise awareness of Learning Institute services with key external interest groups. The post holder will have a thorough understanding of online communications, including audio, video and social media, and will be at ease dealing with content management systems. This is an applicant-focused role and requires commitment to providing a high level of service to recruit appropriate participants to our range of exciting programmes.
